Manhattan, New York | $130,000-$160,000 base salary + commission and bonus

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Luxury Retail Store Director / Boutique Manager to lead a flagship luxury watch boutique in Manhattan.

This is more than a traditional store management role. We're looking for a commercially driven leader who can grow the business, develop a loyal client base and strengthen the brand's presence across New York and the wider Tri-State area.

The Role

You'll take ownership of the boutique's commercial performance, leading from the front to drive sales, develop VIP relationships and generate new business beyond walk-in traffic.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building relationships with VIP clients, watch collectors and high-net-worth individuals.

• Growing a client book through networking, referrals, private appointments and proactive outreach.

• Developing partnerships with luxury businesses and influential contacts across New York.

• Driving sales performance, CRM, clienteling, customer retention and repeat business.

• Creating private events and exclusive client experiences to generate new opportunities.

• Recruiting, coaching and developing a high-performing retail team.

• Bringing the brand's heritage, craftsmanship and watchmaking story to life.

• Overseeing boutique operations, stock management, customer service and retail standards.

What We're Looking For

• Leadership experience in luxury watches, fine jewellery or a comparable premium retail environment.

• Strong knowledge of the New York luxury market, ideally with an established client or industry network.

• A proven track record in sales, business development and commercial performance.

• Experience developing VIP clients, using CRM and driving repeat business.

• Confidence in networking, partnerships, client events and relationship building.

• Strong leadership skills and a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach.

• A genuine passion for watches, craftsmanship and brand storytelling.

Watch industry experience is highly desirable.
