Are you an experienced Sales Coordinator with excellent customer service skills and a proactive approach to sales? Do you enjoy building customer relationships, managing orders and identifying opportunities to grow business?
Our client, a well-established and successful manufacturing business based in Letchworth Garden City, is looking for a confident and commercially minded Sales Coordinator to join their busy team on an ongoing temporary basis.
This is a varied role combining sales order processing, customer account management and proactive sales activity, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both administration and building strong customer relationships.
About the Role
As a Sales Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing UK and export customer orders from initial enquiry through to dispatch, ensuring customers receive an excellent service throughout.
You'll also identify sales opportunities, promote products and build relationships with existing and potential customers.

What You Will Be Doing

Managing UK and export sales orders from enquiry through to dispatch

Handling incoming customer enquiries by telephone and email

Processing orders accurately and maintaining customer records

Liaising with manufacturing, logistics and finance teams

Building and maintaining strong customer relationships

Making proactive outbound calls to existing and potential customers

Identifying opportunities to increase sales and promote products

Managing customer accounts and following up on enquiries

Resolving customer queries and complaints professionally

Updating CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales information

Working towards individual and team sales targets

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in internal sales, sales coordination or a similar sales-focused role is essential

Strong customer service and relationship-building skills

Confident handling inbound and outbound customer calls

Previous sales order processing experience

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Commercially aware with the ability to identify sales opportunities

Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Experience working towards sales targets and KPIs

Export sales experience would be advantageous

Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working in a busy environment
