As the International Recruitment Advisor you will play a crucial role in supporting the effective and efficient recruitment of our healthcare workforce from overseas for the North of Scotland (NHS Grampian, Highland, Orkney and Shetland).
Join our dynamic International Recruitment team and play a key role in helping shape the future workforce of the North of Scotland.
Working as part of a small, highly supportive team, you will deliver a responsive and professional service, coordinating end-to-end international recruitment activity across a range of healthcare professions. You will work closely with recruiting managers throughout the North of Scotland, providing expert guidance on international recruitment processes and offering exceptional pastoral support to candidates as they embark on their journey to live and work in Scotland.
This is a fast-paced, rewarding and varied role, ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and making a real difference. You will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative recruitment solutions that help address workforce challenges and support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services across the region.
We are looking for someone with experience of NHS recruitment and Applicant Tracking Systems, particularly JobTrain, together with a strong understanding of Home Office requirements and the UK Code of Practice for International Recruitment. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities while delivering a high-quality service.
If you are organised, proactive and confident using a range of IT systems, and you thrive in a role where no two days are the same, we would love to hear from you.
This opportunity is only available to existing employees of the Boards participating in the Regional Service.
The North of Scotland International Recruitment Service will be hosted by NHS Grampian, but the successful applicant can be remotely based in any of the NHS premises across the North of Scotland.
Interviews will be week commencing 9th November, 2026.
