About the role
We are recruiting an experienced Multi-Skilled Plumber to carry out responsive repairs and maintenance across residential properties and communal areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a plumber looking for a long-term position, starting with a 12-week temporary period and the opportunity to secure a permanent role.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out domestic plumbing repairs, including leaking pipes, taps, toilets and plumbing fixtures.
- Diagnose faults and complete responsive maintenance work.
- Assist with carpentry, tiling, masonry and general repairs where competent.
- Complete work safely, efficiently and to a professional standard.
- Communicate with residents and provide excellent customer service.
- Update job records, timesheets and material usage using a smartphone or tablet.
- Maintain van stock, tools and equipment.
- Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota as required.
- Proven domestic plumbing and property maintenance experience.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent time-served experience.
- Additional trade skills are desirable.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to undertake a Basic DBS check.
- £26 per hour for the initial 12 weeks.
- Permanent salary of £38,847 per annum upon successful transition.
- Company van provided
