Location: Central London
We’re looking for a commercially minded Cluster Retail Store Manager to lead two prestigious travel retail concessions in central London. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of performance across two locations, inspire and develop future leaders, and grow a business built around creating truly memorable, tailor-made travel experiences.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll balance strategic oversight with active selling, building client relationships and ensuring every customer receives a personal, premium service.
The Cluster Retail Store Manager Role:
As Cluster Retail Store Manager, you’ll have overall responsibility for the commercial performance, operational standards and people development across both locations. Working closely with an Assistant Manager in each store, you’ll create a collaborative, sales-focused culture where teams are motivated to deliver outstanding results.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Take ownership of sales, conversion, profitability and service standards across both stores, setting clear targets and monitoring progress
- Coach and mentor two Assistant Managers, empowering them to lead their teams effectively and take ownership of day-to-day operations
- Develop the business through local marketing initiatives, events, partnerships and networking opportunities
- Ensure customers receive a seamless experience, working collaboratively with specialist teams to create tailored travel itineraries
- Coordinate staffing, rotas and coverage across both locations, maintaining consistently high operational standards
- Identify development opportunities, support succession planning and build a culture of collaboration and accountability across both stores
About You:
- A proven track record of delivering sales growth and strong commercial performance.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing teams, ideally through other managers or across multiple locations
- The ability to balance strategic leadership with a hands-on approach to sales and customer engagement
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively across two busy locations.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- A customer-first mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional, personalised experiences.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook
- A positive, collaborative approach and a genuine enthusiasm for travel and creating memorable customer experience
