The Best Connection Manchester is currently recruiting 6 experienced LWB Multi Drop Van Drivers for our prestigious client operating from Manchester Airport and Trafford Park.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable Cat B Van Drivers looking for ongoing work, competitive pay rates, and immediate starts following successful security vetting.
Pay Rates & Benefits
- £14.25 per hour Monday to Friday
- £16.90 per hour overtime rate
- Overtime paid on hours worked between 7:00pm and 8:00am (less 30-minute break)
- Weekly pay

Working Hours

- 08:00am to 18:00pm

The Role
As a Multi Drop Van Driver, your duties will include:
- Completing between 70 and 100 deliveries per day
- Driving a Long Wheel Base (LWB) Van
- Loading and unloading parcels and packages
- Following planned delivery routes throughout Manchester and surrounding areas
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
- Working efficiently to meet delivery schedules and targets
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Category B Driving Licence
- Previous LWB Van Driving Experience
- Commercial multi-drop delivery experience (80+ drops per shift)
- Comfortable with manual handling and loading/unloading duties
- Good geographical knowledge of Manchester, Trafford Park, Manchester Airport and surrounding areas
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to start work at short notice following successful vetting
Security Vetting Requirements (Essential)
Due to the nature of this role, successful applicants must be able to provide:
- Full 5-year employment history
- 5 years of employment references
- 5-year address history
- Access to HMRC Gateway employment records
- Details to cover any gaps in employment history
- Ability to pass a DBS check
Insurance Requirements
- Must be 25 years of age or older
- Must meet insurance criteria for commercial vehicle operation
