About the role
Applications are invited for the Incumbency of this Cathedral Parish. Whilst it is the Cathedral of the Diocese of Dromore, it operates chiefly as a parish church with the occasional diocesan service and other events.
The Cathedral Church of Christ the Redeemer (Dromore Cathedral), a growing and developing church of currently 446 families, seeks a Rector to lead it in faith and discipleship who will:
- Preach and teach the good news of the Bible to inspire people of all ages to live out its truth.
- Keep the pastoral care of people of all ages as a priority.
- Support and encourage Children’s and Youth ministry so that a new generation is discipled.
- Exercise collaborative leadership which continues to build a strong team.
- Build on our existing foundations while developing new ministries moving forward.
- Develop mission and outreach at home and overseas.
We would want to see all of this undergirded by prayer as we grow as a church rooted in God’s Word and led by the Holy Spirit.
