Experienced in engineering, fabrication or installation projects? Looking for a role where you can take genuine ownership of project delivery and have the freedom to make things happen?

Michelle Denny Recruitment is recruiting an Engineering Contracts Manager for Styne Group, a growing, privately owned engineering business delivering bespoke fabrication, mechanical installation, pipework, structural steelwork and specialist engineering projects.

This is a hands-on role combining technical knowledge, project management, commercial responsibility and customer relationships.

You'll oversee multiple projects from contract handover through to completion, working across office, workshop and site environments.

What you'll be doing

• Managing engineering and installation contracts from handover to completion.

• Planning programmes, resources, fabrication and site installation activities.

• Coordinating workshop teams, site labour, subcontractors and suppliers.

• Monitoring project progress, quality, safety and delivery deadlines.

• Managing project costs, variations, budgets and commercial performance.

• Attending site meetings, resolving technical challenges and maintaining customer relationships.

• Supporting Sales and Estimating with technical input, surveys and project scoping.

• Providing direction and support to site teams.

What we're looking for

You'll have proven experience in contracts management, engineering project management, site supervision or a similar role within engineering, fabrication or construction.

You'll need:

• Strong practical knowledge of engineering, fabrication and installation processes.

• Experience managing projects and coordinating site resources.

• The ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Commercial awareness, including project costs, variations and margins.

• A sound understanding of health and safety requirements, including RAMS.

• Good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

• A full UK driving licence.

Salary and benefits

• £50,000 - £55,500 per annum.
