About the role
An excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in manufacturing and engineering. As a CNC Operative, you will support the team with the production and assembly while learning to operate CNC machinery through on-the-job training.
Hours: Rotating shifts – (36.5 hours per week)
- Monday to Thursday – 6am – 2pm, Friday – 6am – 1pm
- Monday to Thursday – 12pm – 8pm, Friday – 12pm – 7pm
Salary:
- £25,943 per annum + £40 per week shift allowance

Responsibilities of a CNC Operative:
- Assist with the assembly of water management products.
- Load and unload materials for production.
- Support CNC Operators with machine setup and operation.
- Conduct basic quality checks on finished products.
- Maintain housekeeping standards within the production area.
- Assist with stock control and inventory activities.
- Support goods in and despatch functions as required.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
Requirements of a CNC Operative:
- Previous production, manufacturing experience is essential.
- Experience working on machinery is desirable.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable and dependable approach to work.
- Basic computer skills.
