VIQU are partnering with a leading healthcare organisation to recruit a Delivery Manager to support the development, testing and implementation of bespoke systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project delivery professional with a strong technical understanding to oversee testing cycles, coordinate development activities and ensure new systems meet user and business requirements. The successful candidate will have strong project management skills, experience working closely with technical teams and the ability to manage stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle. NHS experience would be advantageous, but candidates with relevant technical project delivery experience from other sectors will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities of the Delivery Manager:
• Lead and coordinate the delivery of technical projects involving the development and testing of bespoke systems
• Oversee testing cycles, ensuring activities are planned, coordinated and completed effectively
• Work closely with development teams, testers and business stakeholders to ensure systems meet user requirements
• Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring users are involved throughout the testing process
• Manage project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies and delivery milestones
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on progress and addressing delivery challenges
• Ensure testing and development activities remain aligned with project objectives and organisational requirements
• Coordinate implementation activities and support the successful introduction of new systems
Key Experience Required of the Delivery Manager:
• Proven experience in project or delivery management, ideally within technical or IT-focused environments
• Experience overseeing system development, software delivery or technical testing cycles
• Understanding of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and the wider system testing lifecycle
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate technical teams and business users
• Experience managing project plans, risks, timelines and competing priorities
• Ability to hit the ground running and take ownership of project delivery
• Previous NHS or healthcare experience would be advantageous but is not essential
• Flexibility to work onsite at a healthcare centre for a minimum of two days per week, ideally three, with occasional weekend working required
