Job Overview

• Role: Customer Team Member (Night Shift)

• Location: Holmsgarth Road, Lerwick, ZE1 0PW (Must be within a commutable distance from Lerwick)

• Pay Rate: £17.39 per hour (including night shift premium)

• Contract Type: Permanent, part-time (30 hours per week + regular overtime)

• Working Pattern: Night shift covering the hours between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM (to be discussed at interview).

• Age Requirement: Must be aged 18+ (due to night shift hours).

• Closing Date: 29-10-2026

What You’ll Do

You’ll work as part of a friendly team in a fast-moving Co-op store, helping deliver essential services to your local community through overnight operations. Duties include:

• Store Operations & Stock Control: Support the smooth running of the store during night shifts by keeping shelves well-stocked and checking prices, dates, and temperatures to ensure safety and legal compliance.

• Shop Floor Support: Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills to create a great shopping experience for customers.

• Community & Membership: Act as a familiar, welcoming face in Lerwick, promoting Co-op membership and connecting with local initiatives and charities.

What You’ll Bring
