Zoom Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for an established UK manufacturer based in Rugby.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking consistent weekday work, competitive hourly rates and the security of an ongoing contract. Both day and night shifts are available, with a fully paid two-week induction and training programme provided before you start.

The Role
You will be responsible for completing bulk trunking deliveries of construction materials using Class 1 vehicles. The role requires a strong focus on road safety, vehicle compliance and delivering a professional service.
Your duties will include:

• Carrying out bulk trunking runs using Class 1 vehicles.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph legislation.
• Following all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
• Maintaining a professional approach when representing the business.

Essential Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• A current Driver CPC qualification.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• A good understanding of driver legislation and road safety.
