Pink Tile Education is supporting a mainstream secondary school in the Brighton area that is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team for an immediate start on a full-time, ongoing basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is committed to inspiring students, developing their literacy skills and delivering engaging English lessons in a supportive secondary school environment.
The Role

Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to secondary school students.

Plan and prepare lessons that meet the needs of students with varying abilities.

Inspire students to develop their reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills.

Encourage a love of literature, language and creative expression.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to support students’ learning and development.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

Experience teaching English at secondary school level is desirable.

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
