Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative Location: Sittingbourne Salary: £28,500 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Overtime: Available at enhanced rates Adecco is recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse operation in Sittingbourne. This is a varied role offering a mix of forklift work and warehouse duties. Approximately 20-25% of your time will be spent operating a forklift truck, with the remainder focused on supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation. Key Responsibilities • Unload 2-3 deliveries per day • Check delivery manifests against goods received • Move stock safely into designated warehouse locations • Unbox products and transfer them to storage areas • Use Powered Pallet Trucks (PPTs) to move stock throughout the warehouse • Maintain accurate stock handling procedures • Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe • Support the wider warehouse team with general duties as required What We're Looking For • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence • Previous forklift and warehouse experience • Good attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures • PPT experience is desirable but not essential What's in It for You? • Competitive salary of £28,500 per annum • Monday to Friday working hours - no regular weekend work • Enhanced overtime rates • Stable, long-term opportunity • Friendly and supportive team environment If you're a reliable and hardworking Forklift Driver looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
