About the role
Weighbridge Operator - Marine Wharf / Aggregates
Temporary Contract - Until Christmas Eve, may go further than this or become a permanent oppurtunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Weighbridge Operator to join a busy marine wharf aggregate site on a contract basis until Christmas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the Fortex weighbridge system, monitoring incoming and outgoing vehicle movements, and ensuring all loads are accurately logged and registered.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the Fortex weighbridge system.
- Monitor and record all incoming and outgoing vehicles and aggregate loads.
- Accurately log and register weighbridge transactions.
- Ensure all weighbridge documentation and records are maintained correctly.
- Liaise with drivers, site personnel and relevant teams to ensure the smooth running of site operations.
Requirements
- Previous weighbridge operating experience is essential.
- Experience within the aggregates industry is highly desirable.
- Previous experience using Tarmac weighbridge systems would be a significant advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and good record-keeping skills are essential.
