Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 17:00 (30-minute lunch break)

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay Rate: £18 – £20 per hour (DOE)

About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced Panel Beater to join a well-established, family-run accident repair business in Havant.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team of approximately 10 people, with a consistent workload and plenty of overtime available during evenings and weekends.

Candidates with additional Paint Spraying experience would be particularly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair dents and damage to vehicle body panels following accidents
• Straighten, reshape and repair damaged panels, including doors, wings, bonnets and quarter panels
• Remove and replace damaged panels where necessary
• Use specialist tools and equipment to carry out high-quality panel repairs
• Carry out welding and panel alignment where required
• Identify additional damage during the repair process and report any issues
• Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
• Work effectively as part of a small, close-knit bodyshop team
• Assist with Paint Spraying duties where experienced and required

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Panel Beater within an accident repair centre or bodyshop
• Strong skills in repairing and reshaping accident-damaged vehicle bodywork
• Experience removing, repairing and replacing vehicle panels
• Good knowledge of panel repair techniques, tools and equipment
• Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of workmanship
• A reliable and flexible approach to work
• Own tools would be beneficial, although some tools are available on site
• Additional Paint Spraying experience would be an advantage
• Relevant qualifications or time-served experience preferred
• Full UK driving licence preferred
