Join Balfor as a Support Worker in the Wolverhampton Area
We are seeking compassionate, experienced support workers to join our team and provide invaluable support to young adults. If you have a genuine desire to help younger adults overcome challenges and achieve their goals, this is the role for you.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience working with young adults (preferably as a Residential Support Worker)
- Level 3 Qualification in Residential Care or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in supporting younger adults
- Clear Enhanced DBS, registered on the Update Service
- Driving licence and access to a car (desired)
As a Support Worker, You’ll:
- Assist with daily living tasks, including medication administration and domestic duties
- Implement individual support plans and lead engaging activities in a challenging, yet rewarding environment
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of progress and key activities
- Uphold the ethos and values of the Statement of Purpose, ensuring care plans are implemented with integrity
- Act as a Key Worker, taking a proactive role in creating and reviewing the young person’s care, education, emotional, and health needs
- Recognise and act upon signs of distress or potential abuse, following safeguarding guidelines
- Contribute to team planning and review meetings to ensure holistic care is provided
- Promote anti-discriminatory practices and respect children’s rights at all times
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies
