Afternoon Nanny, French Speaker, Barons Court, London

A lovely, down-to-earth family based in Barons Court are looking for a wonderful afternoon nanny to join them from September to care for their three children, aged 13, 10, and 5. The position is Monday to Friday from 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm, offering a salary of £24 gross per hour, equivalent to approximately £34,320 gross per annum.
Dad is American and Mum is French, and they are looking for a reliable, fun-loving, and proactive nanny with plenty of energy to become a valued and trusted part of their family. A French-speaking nanny is a requirement for this role. The role will involve collecting the two youngest children from school in South Kensington, which is just two stops away on the Tube, accompanying them to after-school activities when required, and planning engaging activities mainly for the youngest child at home. You will also supervise the older children, although the eldest is very self-sufficient, as well as support the children during bath time and prepare simple yet nutritious evening meals.
The family is happy for the nanny to start earlier than the school pick-up time, using the additional time to perhaps prepare the children’s meals, organise their belongings, tidy their areas, and ensure everything is ready for a smooth afternoon and evening. A housekeeper is employed, so the role is focused solely on childcare and nursery duties.
No driving is required, there are no pets, and no travel is involved. The nanny will support the children’s evening routines so they are settled and ready when their parents take over at the end of the day.
