2 day Nanny Housekeeper in Great Barrington

A super welcoming family are looking for a loving, friendly and fun Nanny Housekeeper to support them in their daily lives.

They have a 3 year old boy who is a happy and fun character who loves to spend time outdoors and a baby of 4 months. Your duties will be split between child care and household. They enjoy a healthy lifestyle and are keen to find a confident cook who is capable cooking nutritious and well balanced meals, they eat all organic food and there are no chemicals in the house. They will require help with family laundry, ironing, cleaning of their lovely home which they like to be kept clean and tidy and changing of bedding as well as childcare duties. These duties will be shared with Mum. They would also love to find someone that is happy to do some babysitting and occasional weekend work. They do employ another nanny the other days of the week so this would be shared with her.

The ideal candidate will understand how to grow confidence through giving the child a sense of autonomy and responsibility when learning about the world, in many ways like the Montessori approach and someone who can foster creativity and imagination. The parents are keen for the children to go to local groups and be out exploring the outdoor environment. Mum will be around so you need to be comfortable with this, some days Mum will take one of the children to spend quality one on one time with them. You will also need to be comfortable with dogs as the family have a spaniel.

Minimum experience Level for this job: Minimum 2 years in childcare and housekeeping

Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Level 3 in child care is preferred but not essential
Days of work: Tuesday and Thursday
Hours of Work: 8am-6pm
Job Start Date: Asap
Pets in the home: 1 dog (Spaniel)
Driving required: Essential, car provided on duty
Pay: £18-20 gross per hour
