Salary: £25,825 - £29,129 per annumCorpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust wishes to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 3 at Saint Paul's Catholic High School in the Autism Resource Provision.
The role:
- To provide high-quality, personalised support to pupils with autism within the school’s Autism Resource Provision, enabling them to regulate, engage in learning, develop independence and participate as fully as possible in school life.
- The postholder will work closely with teachers, the Resource Provision team, pastoral staff, families and relevant professionals to understand and respond to individual pupils’ needs. They will use a calm, consistent and autism-informed approach to support pupils with communication, sensory, emotional and behavioural regulation, while promoting positive relationships and increasing pupils’ confidence and independence.
- The Teaching Assistant 3 will contribute to the delivery of personalised learning programmes and interventions, supporting pupils both within the Resource Provision and, where appropriate, in mainstream lessons and wider school activities.
