We have a fantastic role with a Manchester based tech and marketing company who are expanding their team once more. They heavily invest in their staff so if you’re looking to work on migration projects, IaC and security projects AND have access to funded certification and training, you’ve got to read on:

Here’s the initial projects and areas of focus:

• Migration project one – on-premise servers to an Azure set-up, we’re looking for someone to lead on this, identifying the best tools for the job and mapping out and delivering the project from end to end
• Migration project two – Moving a data center to the Cloud, designing and building the Azure infrastructure, working closely with Data Engineers and the Lead Engineer
• IaC / Infrastructure-as-Code automation projects, using Terraform on Azure
• Security – Manage, implement and document Cloud security policies and best practice
• SysAdmin – Managing Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Autopilot, Cloudflare etc.

Further details:

Their current stack includes Azure, NewRelic, Lambda, CloudFormation, Terraform, Athena, Snowflake, CloudWatch, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Azure Synapse Analytics, Event Hub, Entra ID, Intune, SQL, NodeJS, TypeScript etc.

One stage interview process, face to face at their offices, no tech test

Role details:

• Hybrid role, Mondays and Fridays are team office days, work from home Tuesday to Thursday.
• Early finish on a Friday
• Flexible working hours, start anytime from 5am to 10am, 7.5 hour working day, 30 or 60 minute lunch depending on your preference
• Free, onsite parking, the company are based on Manchester Science Park

We’re looking for someone with:

• Migration project experience, moving from on-premise servers to an Azure set up
• Experience designing and building scalable, secure and reliable Azure infrastructure
• IaC and/or Terraform knowledge or experience – desired
• Security monitoring knowledge and experience inc. protocols, standards, firewall, SSL etc.
• Experience managing Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Office 365 etc.
