Project manager

Wates Property Services is continuing to grow following the successful mobilisation of major planned maintenance, retrofit and decarbonisation contracts across the UK.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of planned maintenance and SHDF-funded retrofit programmes across Herefordshire, including Hereford, Ledbury and surrounding areas.

Opportunity Snapshot

• Delivering planned maintenance and decarbonisation workstreams, including Solar PV installations, Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs), replacement windows and doors, and wider energy efficiency improvements. across occupied social housing properties.
• Based on-site, with a designated home office located within Hereford
• Salary, bonus scheme, car allowance and wider benefits package will be discussed during the screening process.

Main Duties

• Managing subcontractors, direct labour and site teams across multiple projects.
• Planning and coordinating day-to-day operational delivery of planned maintenance and retrofit programmes.
• Leading the mobilisation and delivery of Solar PV, ASHP, window and door replacement projects.
• Monitoring programme, quality, commercial and health & safety performance.
• Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements.
• Building strong relationships with residents, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Managing site logistics, materials and operational resources.

Experience We're Seeking

• Experience delivering planned maintenance projects within occupied social housing properties.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager within social housing, refurbishment or property services.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• SMSTS.
• CSCS Card.
