US Binder Underwriting Analyst

Fantastic opportunity for a permanent US Binder Underwriting Analyst to join the Property team of a well respected global insurer. You will report into the Divisional Head – US Property and be responsible for inputting, manipulating and interpreting all forms of data to facilitate planning and underwriting decisions as well as supporting the Divisional Head to carry out tasks relating to underwriting and reinsurance of the department in order to provide appropriate customer focused products and maximise profitability.

This role includes responsibility for effective management and monitoring of premium income and rating levels, exposures and claims trends, analysing workflow through the team to establish efficiencies in process as well as monitoring of modelling and claims data and reports and involvement on projects that impact the team.

The successful candidate will demonstrate in depth knowledge of US binders, bordereaux management and Lloyd’s requirements as well as advanced Excel skills and experience using Business Objects would be advantageous.
