Senior Infrastructure Engineer
2997 Senior Infrastructure EngineerLocation: Northwood, HA6
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000

Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who wants to remain genuinely hands-on with technology rather than move into an operational management role?
Would you like the opportunity to take technical ownership of a large, modern infrastructure environment and play a leading role in cloud migrations, infrastructure modernisation, cybersecurity, automation and Microsoft technology projects?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the IT Team at St Helen’s School in Northwood.

The role will be the department’s senior technical authority for cloud services, identity management, server infrastructure, disaster recovery and Microsoft technologies.
Reporting to the Director of IT, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and supporting the School’s hybrid infrastructure, whilst leading technical projects, mentoring colleagues and driving continuous improvement across cloud and on-premises services. St Helen’s School continues to invest in digital transformation, cybersecurity and cloud technologies, making this an exciting opportunity for an infrastructure professional who wants strategic influence and technical ownership without having to step away from the technology into an operations management position.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of IT, Network & Operations Engineer, Data Systems & Applications Team and strategic technology partners to deliver infrastructure modernisation, cloud migration initiatives and cybersecurity improvements across St Helen’s School.
