Learning Support Assistant
Location: HertfordshireContract: PermanentHours: Full-time, 34.5 hours per weekSalary: MPS/UPS
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist school supporting autistic children and young people.
The school provides a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment, helping pupils develop the confidence and skills they need to prepare for adulthood and live as independently as possible.
About You
The successful candidate will:
Support pupils to access the school curriculum.
Maintain daily assessment records as directed by the teacher.
Support with classroom organisation.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Work collaboratively as part of a team.
Take a calm, non-confrontational approach to supporting individual needs.
Be committed to helping pupils achieve positive and meaningful outcomes.
