About the role
Avocet Legal Careers has been instructed by a leading law firm with a renowned residential property team.
They are seeking a talented Solicitor, Legal Executive (FCILEx), or Licensed Conveyancer to join their ranks in Newton Abbot. This full-time, permanent position offers excellent career growth prospects and flexible/remote working options.
Residential Conveyancer Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, and remortgages
- Provide exceptional legal services to clients across England and Wales, combining a personalised approach with efficient use of the latest technology
- Independently manage your own caseload while collaborating with the supportive team when needed
- Actively participate in marketing initiatives, client relationship management, and business development efforts
Residential Conveyancer Requirements:
- 1 - 5 years' PQE as a Solicitor, Legal Executive (FCILEx), or Licensed Conveyancer in residential property law
- Proven experience in handling general residential property work, including sales, purchases, transfers, and remortgages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a personable and enthusiastic demeanour
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Driven and motivated to build a successful career in residential property law
