Area Manager (Career Changer)

Take your management expertise to the next level with Aldi by leading and developing multiple stores, building on your proven leadership experience. You’ll lead a multi-site portfolio of +5 stores, driving operational performance and fostering a strong commitment to customer service. You'll demonstrate your proven ability to deliver ambitious KPI's and targets. Working closely with the Store Operations Director, you’ll ensure your stores meet and exceed targets while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and develop Store Managers to ensure the delivery of tight performance targets
• Collaborate with Store Managers to maximise team sales and operational effectiveness
• Own operational costs, including payroll and wastage, driving a lean and efficient store operation
• Maintain a strong understanding of retail performance metrics and adapt to changing business needs
• Work closely with Store Operations Director to ensure compliance, authorise requests, and deliver outstanding store results

Skills & Experience
• A 2:2 degree in any discipline
• Full UK driving licence
• Extensive experience leading teams within a fast-paced, challenging environment
• Strong commitment to customer service and achieving business results
• Agile and proactive leader with a focus on delivering outcomes and embracing change
