The Company

My client is an independent, quality restaurant group operating beautiful, fusion dining concepts in the UK and globally. We are looking for a highly motivated, professional and experienced General Manager to open and manage their newest major restaurant site in a premium central Manchester location.

The Opportunity

This is a crucial new opening for the company and we are looking for an inspirational leader with bags of energy, a passion for building and developing great teams, providing the highest standards of excellence in customer service and the desire to be the best of the best. This opening General Manager position is an exciting senior opportunity to join a successful owner-operated UK and international hospitality group that is very much in growth mode! 

The Candidate

The successful candidate must have extensive experience as a General Manager within fast-paced, large-scale quality restaurant environments. New openings experience is desirable and also a background in working with large teams and within owner-founder/investor led businesses would be advantageous. 

You must:

• Be passionate about offering the highest standards of excellence to guests.
• Love training, inspiring and developing your teams.
• Have an appreciation of fresh, modern and authentic food, incredible cocktails and delicious wines.
• Demonstrate superb communication skills, and a front of house style with personality and warmth.
• Relish working in a fast paced and energetic environment.
• Demonstrate robust commercial capabilities and proven experience of running a successful P&L.
