About the Role

We are currently representing a leading national housebuilder with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality new homes across the UK. They are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join a live residential development in Polegate, consisting of approximately 70 traditional build units. The successful candidate will work under an experienced Senior Site Manager, supporting the delivery of high-standard homes on time and within budget, while maintaining strict health & safety and build quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Site Manager with day-to-day operations and site supervision

• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and trades on site

• Ensure build quality meets NHBC standards and company expectations

• Monitor progress against the build programme and assist in driving productivity

• Maintain accurate site records and ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations

• Assist with materials management, deliveries, and site logistics

• Engage with internal departments and external stakeholders to support a smooth build process

• Prepare plots for key stages and customer handovers

Requirements

• Experience as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor on volume residential projects

• Strong knowledge of traditional build construction methods

• Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A proactive and professional approach to quality and customer care
