Billing Operations Assistant |Permanent- Office based | N18 Edmonton | £28-33k DOB|

 The successful candidate will be working alongside the Business Operations department and dealing with general billing and financial administration duties. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast pace working environment where you will be required to work towards deadlines and SLAs.

The Basics

• Salary is £28-33K Depending on background

• Mon – Fri – 8:30am – 17:30pm 

  
  

Responsibilities:

• Daily clear-down and validation of all operational transactions across waste management, site clearance, haulage, and aggregates

• Ensuring all job data is complete and accurate (waste types, EWC codes, weights, vehicle details, WTNs, order numbers)

• Carrying out pre-invoicing checks to ensure billing aligns with agreed client rates and contractual terms

• Producing daily production and financial reports (revenue, tonnage, transport movements, recycling performance)

• Supporting client reporting requirements and resolving invoice queries

• Maintaining a strong audit trail and supporting compliance with duty of care requirements

  
  

Skills & Requirements 

• Advanced Excel skills (essential)

• Experience working with high-volume transactional data

• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach

• Good communication skills and ability to work across teams

• Experience with Microsoft Teams and OneDrive

  
  

The role will be dealing with a broad client base, including Tier 1 contractors, local authorities, and private customers, so commercial awareness and accuracy are key for this role.
