Care Coordinator – Domiciliary Care Location: Chippenham, Wiltshire Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Hours: Full-Time, Permanent Sponsorship: Not available An established domiciliary care provider is seeking an experienced Care Coordinator to join a friendly, close-knit team supporting adults across Wiltshire to live safely and independently at home. This is a hands-on, varied role combining office-based coordination with field supervision, reporting to the Registered Manager. The RoleCoordinate day-to-day rotas, visit changes, staff availability, and coverTurn new care packages into accurate schedules and clear carer instructionsMonitor late, missed, and short visits and follow up promptlyMaintain accurate records on the care management systemCarry out quality assurance visits, spot checks, and support visitsComplete carer introductions for new client matchesSupport Care Workers with care plans, medication prompts, and moving & handlingComplete medication competency observationsEscalate safeguarding, medication, and risk concerns same daySupport recruitment administration, audits, and inspection readinessCover occasional visits when requiredRequirementsCare Coordinator experience is essentialExperience in domiciliary care, community care, or supported livingConfidence observing practice and supporting Care Workers to improveStrong organisational and rota management skillsUnderstanding of safeguarding, medication, and risk escalationFull UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicleSponsorship is NOT available for this roleDesirableExperience as a Senior Carer, Field Supervisor, or QA roleExperience with digital care management systems (e.g. Birdie)Experience supporting CQC inspections and auditsThe Service A friendly, close-knit domiciliary care provider supporting adults across Wiltshire to live safely and independently at home.
