Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate HLTA Primary Teaching Assistant (SEN Support) to join a supportive primary school in Caerphilly. Key Responsibilities:
As a HLTA Primary Teaching Assistant (SEN Support) based in Caerphilly, your daily duties will include:

Providing high-quality classroom support to pupils, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment
Working closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support that meets individual pupil needs
Assisting in the planning and implementation of learning activities and classroom routines
Supporting students with SEN to promote their social and academic development
Helping maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-organised classroom environment
Supporting the inclusion of all pupils, fostering independence and confidence
Undertaking personal care responsibilities as required

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a HLTA Primary Teaching Assistant (SEN Support), you will need:

Previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary or SEN setting
Strong communication and teamworking skills
Competence with personal care
A caring, patient, and proactive attitude
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one
Flexibility to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
