We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in West London. The school supports children with autism and severe learning difficulties, offering a calm, structured and highly supportive environment where staff work closely together to meet each pupil’s individual needs.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils within the classroom and on a 1:1 or small-group basis, helping them access learning activities tailored to their needs. You will work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team to support communication, emotional regulation and positive behaviour, while encouraging independence and engagement in learning. The role also involves supporting daily routines and contributing to a safe, consistent classroom environment.
To be successful, you should have experience working with children or young people with SEN, ideally within a specialist setting. Strong communication skills, resilience and a genuine commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs are essential.
