Job Title: Cover Supervisor – Secondary Education
Location: Cardiff, Wales
Salary: £120 per day

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise pupils in Years 7, 8, and 9, as well as GCSE classes, helping to create a positive and productive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage classroom behaviour for pupils in secondary schools across Cardiff
Support teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
Ensure the safety and well-being of students during lessons
Assist with the implementation of educational programmes and support pupils with special educational needs
Maintain a positive and inclusive environment conducive to learning
Adapt to different school environments and support various age groups

Requirements:

Experience (paid or voluntary) working with children or in the care sector
Genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their development
Open to training and professional development opportunities
Proactive work ethic and a patient, understanding attitude
Good understanding of special educational needs (SEN)
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Flexibility to work across secondary schools in Cardiff
