About the role
- Salary: £39,373 per annum
- Job Type: Permanent
- Shift: 2-week rotating shift pattern
We are recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join a busy manufacturing environment.
You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment, responding to breakdowns and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to maximise machine uptime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planned preventative maintenance and breakdown response.
- Mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.
- Maintain extrusion lines, moulding machines, automated cells and ancillary equipment.
- Complete maintenance records via CMMS.
- Carry out equipment improvements and modifications.
- Support continuous improvement and maintenance KPIs.
- Work safely and efficiently at all times.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Mechanical/Electrical apprenticeship, HNC/HND or equivalent.
- 3+ years' experience in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Manufacturing/industrial maintenance experience.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable: PLC fault finding, hydraulics, pneumatics, extrusion/injection moulding, servo drives and 18th Edition.
Shift Pattern:
Week 1: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm
Week 2: Monday–Thursday, 10:00am–6:00pm, Friday 6:00am–2:00pm
Salary: £39,373 per annum
