Chef de Partie

This luxury Country House Hotel and adjoining self catering apartments are located just a stone’s throw from the picturesque Lake Ullswater and the historic market town of Penrith. Set against uninterrupted views of the Lakeland Fells and Eden Valley, the venue offers a peaceful, high-end environment while remaining conveniently close to the M6 and Penrith train station.

An experienced Chef de Partie is required to join a well-established kitchen team. This is a hands-on position suited to a chef who is passionate about quality food, consistency, and teamwork within a professional kitchen environment.

Your new job

• Running and maintaining a designated section during service
• Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard
• Supporting senior kitchen management with daily operations
• Assisting in the training and development of junior chefs
• Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are met
• Assisting with stock control and waste reduction

About you

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and efficient during service
• A positive, team-oriented approach
• Good understanding of food safety regulations
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Salary and benefits

• Competitive salary of £27,000-£29,000 (dependent on experience)
