Job Description
Vetro are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the development and wellbeing of children within a vibrant environment. The successful candidate will provide high-quality classroom support and deliver planned class cover across the school, helping to foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, your daily duties will include:
Supporting teaching and learning across different year groups and subjects under the direction of the class teacher
Delivering targeted interventions to support pupils’ progress and development
Promoting positive behaviour and inclusive practices within the classroom
Building strong relationships with children, staff, parents, and carers
Covering planned whole-class sessions in the absence of teachers, maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning
Assisting with the implementation of teachers’ planning and supporting the ethos of the school
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Experience of working effectively with primary-aged children
Confidence and classroom management skills to lead whole-class cover sessions
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
