Recon Recruitment are actively searching for a HGV Class 2 driver for a full time position based in Burton-on-Trent for an exclusive client.
Our client has been in operation for over 100 years and has grown to be one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the UK. They have over 700 stores across the UK and your role as a HGV Class driver is to ensure deliveries are made to the stores on time and all products remain in perfect condition.
Your job will involve -
- Delivering to various shops on one run.
- Carrying out vehicle checks at the start and end of your shifts.
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed within the allocated time frame.
- Adhering to all driving hours, tachograph and road transport legislation.
- Maintaining a professional standard of driving and customer service.
- Some hand balling (mostly pump trucked).
- Communicating with the office on any delays and issues.
Working hours -
- Early starts (2am - 5am)
- Monday - Friday.
- Weekend shifts are optional.
