SEND Teaching Assistant (1:1 SEND)

Zest Education are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support a child on a 1:1 basis at a welcoming primary school in Old Oscott.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support a pupil with SEND throughout the school day

• Follow structured support strategies

• Encourage progress both academically and socially

• Work closely with teachers, SENDCo and parents

• Maintain a calm and nurturing environment

Requirements:

• Experience supporting children with SEND

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A patient and positive manner

• Ability to work well within a team

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
