About the role
Crawley | £13.20 per hour + 10% shift allowance (£14.52 per hour) | Monday to Friday | 6:00am to 2:15pm | Overtime Available
First Recruitment Services are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives/Inventory Associates to join a busy and professional Operations team in Crawley. This is a full-time temporary position, initially for 6 months, with an immediate start available.
The Role
You will be responsible for supporting the receiving, packaging and distribution of products within a warehouse and logistics environment. Duties will include:
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Receiving deliveries and updating inventory systems
- Stock control, cycle counts and inventory checks
- Completing production and GMP paperwork accurately
- Following standard operating procedures
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety
- Working within ambient, chilled and frozen environments when required
- Supporting the wider operations team as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Good attention to detail
- Basic IT skills
- GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, flexible approach to work
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Previous warehouse, inventory or logistics experience would be advantageous but is not essential
