About the role
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming secondary school in Sutton Coldfield.
You will supervise students during lessons when their usual teacher is unavailable, deliver pre-prepared work and maintain a positive, focused and well-managed learning environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise classes across different subjects and year groups.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Support students with their learning where appropriate.
Complete registers and maintain accurate records.
Confident and approachable with strong communication skills.
Reliable, organised and adaptable.
Positive and professional when working with young people.
Confident managing classroom behaviour.
Previous experience in a school or working with young people is desirable, but candidates with relevant transferable experience are encouraged to apply. This role would suit someone considering a career in teaching or education.
