About the role
We are looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Stores Person to join our busy team in Crawley.
This is a hands-on role responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the stores operation. You will help ensure goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately, while maintaining a safe, tidy and efficient warehouse environment.

This is a hands-on role responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the stores operation. You will help ensure goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately, while maintaining a safe, tidy and efficient warehouse environment.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, check and book in deliveries accurately.
- Load and unload goods safely.
- Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Issue parts, materials and equipment to internal teams.
- Maintain accurate stock records and complete regular stock checks.
- Investigate and report any stock discrepancies or damaged items.
- Organise stock and ensure all items are correctly labelled and stored.
- Monitor stock levels and notify the relevant person when replenishment is required.
- Complete goods-in, goods-out and delivery paperwork.
- Keep the warehouse and stores area clean, tidy and organised.
- Follow all health and safety, manual-handling and company procedures.
- Support the wider warehouse and logistics team when required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or stock-control environment.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable, positive and hardworking attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- The ability to carry out physical duties, including lifting and moving stock.
- Basic computer skills for updating stock systems and completing records.
- A forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
