Cover Supervisor – Doncaster – Long Term Opportunities

Cover Supervisor | Doncaster | £105 to £130 per day

We are looking for Cover Supervisors to work within secondary schools across Doncaster. This is a flexible opportunity with long term positions available alongside part time and casual work, allowing you to choose a role that fits around your availability.
A Cover Supervisor takes responsibility for a class when the usual teacher is not available. You will supervise students, provide the work left by the teacher and help maintain a positive learning environment. Previous experience is not essential, making this suitable for anyone looking to start a career in education.

What We’re Looking For:
• Follow instructions and lesson plans, communicating this effectively with students
• Manage a classroom and maintain expectations in line with school policies
• Work independently and as part of a school team
• Adapt to different classes and school environments

Key Responsibilities of the Role:
• Supervise students in the absence of their usual teacher
• Deliver work and activities provided by teaching staff
• Maintain appropriate behaviour and classroom expectations
• Support students with questions and their classwork
• Ensure students remain on task throughout the lesson
• Follow school procedures and safeguarding requirements
