Salary: £150 - £210 per day

About the Role:

Inspire theatrical talent and confidence at a thriving secondary school in Hockley. Delivering practical and theoretical lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, you will manage an active performance space requiring assertive, firm behaviour management to keep pupils focused. You will also adapt practical drama exercises to ensure learners with SEN are fully included and supported in developing their creative skills.

Situated conveniently near Hockley rail station with excellent links to Rayleigh, Rochford, and Southend.

What You Need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

• Specialist background in Drama, Theatre Studies, or Performing Arts across KS3 and KS4.

• Excellent stagecraft control, behaviour management skills, and SEN awareness.

• Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
