Job Title Civil Work Engineer Summary We’re looking for an experienced Civil Work Engineer to join an Oil & Gas project based on-site in Talacre. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical design and coordination skills, experienced in civil works for energy projects. It’s an excellent opportunity to work on a major project with a competitive daily rate. Salary £500 per day Outside IR35 Contract PositionLocation and Working Pattern Talacre – On-site, 5.5 days per week Client Overview Our client is a leading company within the Oil & Gas sector, delivering complex engineering projects to the highest standards of safety and quality. ResponsibilitiesAchieve assigned goals and meet project quality and contractual requirementsPrepare detailed BOQs for civil works and MTOs for steel structures using 3D modelling toolsDevelop technical documentation for engineering annexes and subcontracting activitiesDesign drainage, plumbing, and sewage systems for buildings and site infrastructureConduct studies for foundations and concrete structuresPerform quality checks across all project documents, including vendor submissionsVerify structural BIM models in line with OpenBIM best practices and project requirementsOversee and approve engineering designs and construction drawings for civil foundations, concrete structures, and buildingsImplement discipline follow-up activities and provide on-site engineering supportMust-have RequirementsProven experience as a Civil Work Engineer in Oil & Gas and energy projectsBSc in Civil EngineeringBIM Coordinator CertificationStrong knowledge of EurocodeProficiency in Office 365 (Excel), Mat 3D, Foundation 3D, SP3D, NavisworkNice-to-have SkillsExperience coordinating multidisciplinary teamsFamiliarity with emerging BIM technologiesBenefits Competitive daily rate, experience on a high-profile project, and the opportunity to work with a recognised industry leader.
