We are seeking a proactive and highly organised People Operations Officer to join a growing People & Culture team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting employees and managers across the entire employee lifecycle, while developing your HR knowledge and experience within a supportive organisation.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for HR-related enquiries, you will provide exceptional support to employees and managers, ensuring a professional and efficient service at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the shared HR inbox and responding to employee queries
- Providing first-line advice and guidance on people-related matters
- Issuing offer letters, contracts and contractual amendments
- Supporting end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities
- Completing pre-employment checks, right-to-work documentation and compliance processes
- Coordinating new starter onboarding and induction activities
- Processing payroll-related administration and maintaining employee records
- Supporting absence management processes and Occupational Health referrals
- Maintaining accurate HR systems and documentation
- Delivering excellent customer service while handling sensitive and confidential information
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong administration experience within a busy office environment
- Previous HR administration experience
- Experience issuing contracts, offer letters and onboarding documentation
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong IT skills and confidence using multiple systems
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- The ability to manage a high workload and prioritise effectively
- A professional and confidential approach when handling sensitive information
Hybrid Working
Following an initial training period of two weeks in the office (Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm), the role offers hybrid working with:
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the office (fixed and non-negotiable)
- Up to three days per week working from home
- Additional office attendance may occasionally be required
