Working Hours: 8:15am – 2:15pm
Days: Monday – Friday, full-time
Pay: Up to £120 per day, depending on experience

Provide Education are currently recruiting for two Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming secondary school in Barnsley, starting as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants who are looking for a full-time role within a secondary school setting. The positions will initially run until Christmas, with the potential for the right candidates to move into a permanent position.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils across KS3 and KS4 within a range of classroom settings.
• Work closely with teachers to support learning, engagement and positive behaviour.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required.
• Adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of pupils.
• Report to the SENDCO each morning to receive your daily timetable and allocation.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and contribute to a supportive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for candidates who:

• Have previous experience working within a secondary school or similar educational setting – essential.
• Have experience supporting pupils across KS3 and/or KS4.
• Are confident working with a range of abilities and needs.
• Have a positive, patient and proactive approach.
• Can build strong professional relationships with pupils and staff.
• Are reliable and available to work 5 days per week.
• Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or are willing to obtain one.
