The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Consultant in HIV & Genitourinary Medicine to support a specialist NHS HIV and Sexual Health service across Hampshire.

This ongoing locum opportunity offers the chance to join a well-established HIV and Sexual Health service, delivering outpatient HIV care, complex Genitourinary Medicine clinics and participating in a 1 in 3 specialist on-call rota. You'll work alongside experienced Consultants within a highly supportive multidisciplinary team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage a cohort of HIV patients through specialist face-to-face outpatient clinics
• Deliver complex Genitourinary Medicine clinics across multiple sites
• Participate in HIV multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings
• Provide specialist advice through the Hampshire HIV/GUM on-call service
• Support HIV and complex Genitourinary Medicine services
• Work collaboratively with Consultants, Specialist Nurses, Pharmacists, SAS Doctors, Health Advisers, Healthcare Assistants and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to high-quality patient care

What We're Looking For

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• GMC Specialist Registration (or appropriate Specialist Grade experience)
• MRCP (or equivalent)
• Diploma in Genitourinary Medicine
• Diploma in HIV Medicine
• Demonstrable experience managing HIV and sexually transmitted infections
• Experience in genital dermatology
• Ability to work independently within a specialist HIV & GUM service
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
