Assistant Manager - Luxury Goods

Our client is a leading luxury goods retailer specialising in a diverse range of premium and luxury products. They are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join their Glen Waverley location.

This is an exciting opportunity for a polished and commercially driven retail leader who has a genuine passion for luxury and understands the importance of delivering a highly personalised customer experience.

The Role

As Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the store, lead and develop the team, and help drive strong commercial performance while upholding the high standards associated with a luxury retail environment.

You will be responsible for:

• Supporting and motivating the retail team
• Driving sales, KPIs and store performance
• Delivering an elevated customer experience
• Building strong and lasting client relationships
• Supporting stock and inventory management
• Maintaining premium visual and presentation standards
• Assisting with rosters and daily operations
• Stepping up to lead the store when required

About You

We are looking for a confident and experienced Assistant Store Manager who is passionate about luxury retail and understands how to deliver exceptional service to a discerning clientele.

You will ideally have:

• Previous Assistant Store Manager or 2IC experience
• Experience within luxury or premium retail
• Strong sales and KPI management experience
• A genuine passion for luxury goods and fashion
• Exceptional customer service and clienteling skills
• Proven experience leading and developing a team
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• High attention to detail and presentation
• A polished, professional and confident approach
