Street Works Inspector

Our client is currently seeking Street Works Inspectors to join their team. This permanent role is based in London and focuses on ensuring compliance with street works regulations and maintaining the integrity of the highway network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspecting street works to ensure compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) and other relevant legislation
• Conducting site visits to monitor the progress and standards of street works
• Identifying and reporting any non-compliance issues or defects
• Liaising with contractors, utility companies, and other stakeholders to resolve issues
• Maintaining accurate records of inspections and findings
• Providing technical advice and support regarding street works regulations
• Ensuring the safety of the public and minimising disruption caused by street works

Job Requirements:

• Experience in street works inspection or a related field within the highways sector
• Qualified under the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA)
• Strong understanding of street works regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent observational and reporting skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed records and documentation
